யுத்தம் முடிவடைந்து சமாதானம் நிலவுவதற்கு பிரார்த்திப்போம்; "ஈதுல் பித்ர்" பெருநாள் செய்தியில் முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர் ரவூப் ஹக்கீம் தெரிவிப்பு...!.

மத்திய கிழக்கில் மூண்டுள்ள யுத்தம்  முடிவுக்கு வந்து நிரந்தர சமாதானம் நிலவுவதற்கு "ஈதுல் பித்ர்" பெருநாள் தினத்தில் அல்லாஹ்வை பிரார்த்திப்போம் என ஸ்ரீலங்கா முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் தலைவர், பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் ரவூப் ஹக்கீம் விடுத்துள்ள "ஈதுல் பித்ர்"வாழ்த்து செய்தியில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளார்.

அதில் ,அவர்  மேலும் தெரிவித்துள்ளதாவது,

புனித ரமழான் மாதம்  ஆன்மீகப் புத்தெழுச்சி , தியாக மனப்பான்மை  ஆகியவற்றுடன்  எல்லாம் வல்ல அல்லாஹ்வுடன் நெருக்கமான தொடர்பை  பேணக்கூடிய  சிறந்த கால கட்டமாக இருந்தது. ஆயினும், இந்த ஆண்டு, உலகெங்கிலும் வாழும் முஸ்லிம்களை மிகவும் துயரமான காலத்தில் இந்த புனித மாதம் கடந்து செல்கிறது.

ஏனெனில், முஸ்லிம்கள் வாழும் பல்வேறு நாடுகளில், குறிப்பாக மேற்கு ஆசியாவில்  ஈவிரக்கமற்ற யுத்த கெடுபிடிகள் அதிகரித்தவண்ணம் உள்ளன. எனவே, இம்முறை நாம் கனத்த இதயங்களுடன் இந்த பெருநாளைச்  சந்திக்கிறோம்.

தியாகம் மற்றும் விடாமுயற்சியின் தாற்பரியத்தை ரமழான் மீண்டுமொரு முறை நமக்கு நினைவூட்டியிருக்கிறது. நம் படைப்பாளனான அல்லாஹ்வை நெருங்கவும்,  ஆன்மீக வழிகாட்டல்களைப் பெறவும்  அந்த நற்பண்புகளில் உறுதியாக நிலைத்து நிற்கவும் அது நம்மைத் தயார் படுத்தியிருக்கிறது.

ஒப்பீட்டளவில் பார்க்கும் போது தற்போதைய சூழ்நிலையில் , இலங்கையில் வெள்ளப் பெருக்கு, மண் சரிவு போன்ற காலநிலை சீர்கேடுகளினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்கள் அனுபவித்துவரும் துன்பங்களுக்கு அப்பால்,  உலகின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் முஸ்லிம்கள்  சொல்லொணாத் துயரங்களுக்கு மத்தியில்  நோன்பின் மாண்புகளை நன்கு  அனுசரித்து, உச்சக் கட்ட சகிப்புத் தன்மையுடன் பொறுமையைப் பேணி வருவதற்காக எல்லாம் வல்ல அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நாங்கள்  நன்றி செலுத்தக் கடமைப்பட்டுள்ளோம்.

அதே வேளை, காஸா வில்,பலஸ்தீனத்தில் இஸ்ரேலின் மூர்க்கமான தாக்குதலாலும், இப்பொழுது ஈரான் மீதுஅடர்ந்தேற்றப்பட்டுள்ள அமெரிக்க-இஸ்ரேல் யுத்தத்தினாலும் குறிப்பாக  மத்திய கிழக்கில்  உயிரிழப்புகள் மற்றும் ஏனைய பாதிப்புகளினால்  துன்புறுபவர்களுக்காக எங்கள் இதயங்கள் இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்துகின்றன.

மத்திய கிழக்கில் மூண்டுள்ள  யுத்தம்  அவசரமாக முடிவுக்கு வருவதற்கும், நிரந்தரமான  சமாதானமும், நீதியும்  நிலைநாட்டப்படுவதற்கும் இறைவனிடம் நாங்கள்  மனம் உருகப் பிரார்த்திப்போமாக.

இந்தப் பெருநாள் நமது சகோதரத்துவப் பிணைப்புகளை வலுப்படுத்தி, ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பரஸ்பரம்  ஒத்துழைக்க நம்மை ஊக்குவிக்குமாக.

Marking Eid-ul-Fitr with Heavy Hearts — Rauff Hakeem

Ramadan has always been my favourite month of the year — a time of spiritual renewal, sacrifice and closeness to our Creator the most Merciful, Almighty Allah. Yet this year, it passed amid the saddest of times for Muslims around the world, as merciless onslaughts of old and new wars continue in many lands where the Muslim brethren lives especially in West Asia. Hence, we mark Eid-ul-Fitr today with heavy hearts.

Ramadan once again reminded us of the profound essence of sacrifice and perseverance. It inspired us to strive earnestly in these virtues, seeking only to draw closer to our Creator and to earn His divine love.

We are deeply thankful to the Almighty Allah for the peace that many of our brothers and sisters are still able to sustain in different parts of the world, including the relative safety we experience here in Sri Lanka. At the same time, our hearts bleed for those who continue to suffer the brutal onslaught of Israel in Gaza, and now the US-Israel war in Iran, spreading fear across the Middle East and the rest of the world.

We also pray fervently for an immediate end to the wars in the Middle East and for the restoration of lasting peace and justice. May the coming year bring healing, unity and security to all worldwide.

On this blessed Eid, I wish everyone joy, good health, prosperity,  barakah and blessings. May this festival strengthen our bonds of brotherhood, inspire us to support one another, and continue working for the progress and dignity of all.
